A plethora of good is showing up in our backyard and around the world. A gift is to be present to the moment to see, hear and feel all the good that is occurring. There are continuums, such as at one end the people whose mind’s look at the big picture, work with goals and what’s possible. At the other end are the masters who are in action with the detail coming to equal the whole. Let’s imagine the continuum connected at the ends, creating an important circle, and with this, possibilities will grow exponentially and be put into place.
A friend has lived “up on the roof” of her fair trade boutique in Edmonds, Washington for a period of time, 114 days. ( http://www.upontheroofwithcarol.org/ ) Carol Schillios, founder of Fabric of Life Foundation ( www.fabricoflife.org ), has raised over $90,000 during this time to support the Foundation’s efforts. A few years ago, she started an educational program and cooperative in Bamako, Mali, Africa called “From Beggars to Business Women in 18 Months”. The graduates of the school now teach other young women, ages 15 and over. A circle was made in Carol’s efforts and the people in Mali. Young women, instead of living a life of begging, now have meals each day and work to sustain their lives and the lives of their families. www.fabricoflife.org
The money Carol has raised represents people giving small donations along with a story of what the person does to help change the world. That’s a lot of goodness showing up in stories $90,000 strong where continuums have connected vision and action with detail.
I have a vision that the “too many continnums to count” in our world get connected into circles and even overlap, like looking into the air after blowing bubbles and seeing them float. Sometimes the bubbles remain separate but touch each other. Sometimes they grow together into larger bubbles. Let the bubbles represent ‘possibilities turned into circles of visions and action’. There are many around us these days.
Be well in your possibilities and action. Do what matters.
